Conflict Resolution for the Real World - Adelaide
It's All About the People Conflict Resolution in the Real World Adelaide
A Professional Workshop for Australians
Course Overview
G'day everyone! I'm Dr Marcus Clarkson and I'm thrilled to bring you this much needed workshop here in Adelaide. I have spent the past 25 years working with businesses across Australia from small, family owned businesses in the Barossa Valley to multi nationals in the CBD and I have seen the damage workplace conflict can have on a team first hand. But I've also seen the amazing metamorphosis that takes place when people are taught conflict resolution skills.
The standard line on corporate learning is that it's usually made up of a lot of theoretical frameworks and not based in practice, or at least serve too disconnected from practice. Instead, we'll highlight real world strategies that you can begin to apply right away the next time you walk through the doors of your workplace. Think of it as sitting down with a buddy who's been through the wars and wants to tell you what actually works.
The thing about conflict resolution is that it's not about preventing conflict that's simply impossible when intelligent, passionate people are in play. It's not about suppressing that intensity; it's about using it constructively in promoting (rather than diminishing) your relationships with your team.
